Our first rush event of the year was held last Saturday, February 20th. Although bad weather prevented some potential rushees from showing up, 13 still made an appearence. We started the event by having a pool tournament in the student union. It was a tough battle but in the end brother Jacob Mueller and his partner Eric Balas came out on top. 

After the pool tournament we returned to Theta Xi for some of the Noll families famous pulled pork and to watch Kansas State basketball team beat Oklahoma on the road. The eating was good and the fun was even better. We continued the night by watching movies and getting to know each other a little better through board games and poker. In the end everyone had a good night and the rush candidates seemed to be very promising to the future of Alpha Iota.
